My first session helped me to reflect on my own approach to learning and to spend some time considering how I learn myself. Using the Kolb Inventory I discovered that I was an accommodating learner. Upon reflection I agreed that the majority of the traits of an accommodating learning style did match how I would see myself. The strength of this learning style were highlighted as: Getting things done Leading Taking risks Initiating  Being adaptable Being practical The learning style furthest from my own was assimilating. Through looking at this style I set myself targets to focus upon. These included analysing data, organinsing information and testing theories and ideas with others.  Other areas of development that I identified were: making tough or unpopular decisions  knowledge and understanding about learning theories developing opportunities to develop my own learning and the learning of colleagues The session also explored the leader...
